The laboratory of JSC “Salavatsteklo” was put into operation in parallel with the launch of the plant in 1962.

Qualified specialists have always been at the basis of this department, and continuity of generations and system transfer of gathered knowledge, experience and skills is one of the main principles for considerable testing quality retention, which, alongside planned upgrade of testing equipment and measurement means, makes the laboratory the most modern and expert in the glass area in the Russian Federation.

Nowadays the JSC “Salavatsteklo” has the Accreditation Certificate for testing to ensure conformity of such products as Float, Low-E, solar protective, decorative, multifunctional glass, silicate sodium soluble, liquid glass.

At the present time the department consists of 7 divisions of: raw materials; analysis; x-ray fluorescence analysis; control of safe glass, IGUs and Float glass; coated glass control; glass container control, - that carry out tests at each stage of production – from the acceptance test of raw and other materials to the final products inspection.

The laboratory of JSC “Salavatsteklo” offers services on carrying out tests of glass and raw materials used for glass and glassware production.
